Multi Profile Registration Plugin
| The problemm: | Joomla has NO standard support of registering different users in different user groups (public/registered/author) automaticly from the frontend or hide content for different groups in the same access level.

| Our solution: | For only € 9.50 our Joomla Multi Profiles plugin gives Joomla 2.5 the opportunity to register users direclty in a pre-selected user group upon registration and take advantage of the built in ACL rules. In Joomla 2.5 you are able to create unlimited user groups and set rules of what is viewable by each group. Think of a teacher/student or customer/supplier website in where some registered users gain other privileges, this plugin provides that functionality! |
This is a must have plugin for every joomla 2.5 installation with user registration!
Be aware! At this moment we have a small issue on Joomla 2.5.9 which is NOT affecting the base functionality. Please read the error message here!
Frontend: CSS styling Registration Form
The plugin comes with pre-selected list options which appear above the standard user profile fields during the registration process. The labels and fields are customizable with CSS.

Frontend: Access Control Layer
Because a User profile group is based on the "Access levels" of Joomla you can create unlimited ACL rules. Restrict sections / categories or articles only for particular user groups with ease.
Backend: Controll the groups plugin
In the config settings of the plugin the webmaster selects which user groups are visible in the frontend registration process.
With this plugin you can create unlimited Profile Types. Multiple groups registration is possible as well!
Backend: Edit Group per User
The administrator can Add/edit the group per user in the normal Joomla "Users" section. Select the appropriate group and hit 'save'. The end user CAN NOT change their usergroup which i think isn't a good thing on many websites anyway.
(but optional setting is requested and planned in the roadmap).

Easy installation through the normal Joomla installer.

There is a known flaw with the T3 Framework in ordering the fields. At this time the support is limited to normal Joomla installations
