WordPress has a great built-in function by default to add new functionality to your site with just a few clicks. In this doc we will show you how to upload and install the .zip files of the plugins you have purchased and downloaded from our store.
Basicly you can add a plugin in two ways:
1. Install through the WordPress plugin Manager
2. Install with FTP client
What to prepare? First purchase and download the software as a .zip file to your local computer.
Install through WordPress plugin Manager
The first thing you need to do is to login to the administrative area of your WordPress website. Once you do that, access the WordPress Plugin Manager by going to Plugins -> Add New. Hit the button “upload plugin” in the left top corner.
Browse to the location of your extension’s archive on your local computer, and press the ‘Install Now’ button.
The plugin will upload and install. A message will return wether the installation is correct or not. Then press ‘Activate Plugin’ to enable the plugin.
Install WordPress plugin with FTP client
In some cases, your hosting provider may have file restrictions that could limit your ability to install a plugin from the admin area. In this situation, your can install the plugin manually using FTP.
Unzip the package and upload the complete folder in the /wp-content/plugins/ folder
Access the WordPress Plugin Manager by going to Plugins -> Installed Plugins. Hit the link “Activate” to enable the software.
